Today is the last day I shall spend in Israel. Today was mainly filled with packing doing laundry and other such tasks that fall under the title of quotidian. Another thing that I noticed is how different even American junk food is. In America if you walk into a McDonalds you can order a hamburger and other assorted greasy junk foods, but if it comes to ordering something healthy you MIGHT be able to get a measly salad. If you walk into a McDonalds in Israel you can order a full luscious salad with Feta or chicken or tofu (all of these items are kosher by the way) with lemon dressing. Wow that really put into perspective how cough unhealthy America is. So tomorrow I shall board a plane to go to Rome where I will be for three days and then I will connect with a tour group.
